Experimental new collaborations at Portico
What happens when you commission two amazing composers to work together and do something different for our organ?
D.O.M.E. by Xenia Pestova Bennett and Son Zept
As part of our Feel Good Festival 2024, we commissioned experimental composers Xenia Pestova Bennett and Son Zept aka Liam McCartan to create something new for our heritage organ. The result was D.O.M.E. or Dynamic Organ Multi-sensory Experience which featured compositions combining electronic soundscapes and live organ performance.
