Orr Room

Portico is a space that is unique, elegant and well-equipped. We always do our best to ensure every event runs smoothly.

We have excellent A/V equipment including 4 high quality cameras should you wish to record or livestream your event. There is also a concert piano and much-admired refurbished organ.

Whether you fancy a string quartet or a DJ, if you are looking for a performer, we are happy to advise if you would like help.

Portico is fully accessible, with modern facilities including:

  • internal and external lifts,
  • accessible loos,
  • baby change, and
  • blue badge parking.

We also have a very attractive panelled ‘green room’ (named the ‘Orr Room’) which is perfect for signing registers, pre-event gatherings or for use as a ‘quiet space’. A small kitchen is attached, too.
