What's happening with the ferry?
The ferry slips at both ends are in need of work to make them safe. The normal ferry service will be unable to run for what is estimated to be five weeks from 14 October 2024. There will be two alternative services provided...
There will be no car ferry service for the five weeks.
A replacement bus service will operate for school children.
A replacement ferry service will operate a "reduced timetable" for foot passengers. We don't know what that reduced timetable looks like yet but we are hopeful it will include a late night service on Friday and Saturday evenings to enable our audiences who are regular ferry users to travel to Portico by leaving their cars in Strangford.
We suggest everyone sits tight for now and waits to see what the reduced timetable looks like before cancelling any tickets (especially if you have tickets to the Simon and Garfunkel show as it is nearly sold out).
Refunds are available up to one week before the day of any show. If you decide you want a refund you can request one via eventbrite or email [email protected]
