The Mladenović-Wilson duo brings together an outstanding Serbian violinist with one of Ireland’s leading composers.

The Mladenović-Wilson duo

Their musical collaboration began more than 10 years ago when Ian composed a new work for Dušica’s violin trio and since then they have collaborated on a number of premieres and CD recordings. One of the highlights so far was the world premiere of ‘Socrates Ungraved’, Ian’s reworking of Erik Satie’s ‘Socrate’ into a work for violin and orchestra which Dušica premiered with the Belgrade Philharmonic in 2018. Dušica and Ian are delighted to be presenting the first performances in Ireland of a new version of ‘Socrates Ungraved’ for violin and piano.

Passionate about sharing their favourite music with audiences, the Mladenović-Wilson duo is delighted to be making their Irish debut with a North/South tour in summer 2022.
